Ong Trinh mountain quarry was granted mining license by the Ministry of Industry No. 579 QĐ/CNNG on November 6, 1993 for Phuoc Hoa Stone Enterprise (now Phuoc Hoa Fico Joint Stock Company) under the Union of Construction Materials Enterprises No. 1 (now FICO Corporation – JSC) with an area of 158.18 ha. After many adjustments to the mining license, on January 24, 2019, the People’s Committee of Ba Ria Vung Tau province issued a mining license No. 05/GP-UBND with a reserve of 40,000,000 m3 (monolithic) construction stone, mining capacity is 1,400,000 m3/year (monolithic) and mining period is 28 years and 6 months.
